Last updated: 23 March 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Lagos Financial website or engaging our services. By accessing lagosfinancial.com.au (the “Website”) or submitting an enquiry, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. About Lagos Financial

The Website is operated by Lagos Financial Pty Ltd (ABN 39 660 364 170), the holder of Australian Credit Licence (ACL) 546774, and its associated entity Lagos Financial Servicing Pty Ltd (ACR 519272, Credit Representative Number 576488).

Together, we operate as a mortgage broking and finance services business with offices at:

  • Level 1, 9/13 Bronte Road, Bondi Junction NSW 2022
  • 45 Cameron Street, Launceston TAS 7250

Phone: 0483 969 782
Email: contact@lagosfinancial.com.au

In these Terms, “Lagos Financial”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Lagos Financial Pty Ltd and Lagos Financial Servicing Pty Ltd, as applicable.

2. Credit Services – What We Do (and Don’t Do)

Lagos Financial is a credit assistance provider under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) (“NCCP Act”). This means we help you identify, compare and apply for credit products offered by third-party lenders – we do not provide credit ourselves.

Key points:

  • Any loan, mortgage or finance product you obtain is provided by the relevant lender, not by Lagos Financial.
  • Approval of any credit application is at the sole discretion of the lender and is subject to the lender’s own terms, conditions and credit assessment criteria.
  • Submitting an enquiry or application through this Website does not guarantee that credit will be offered, nor does it constitute a credit offer from us.
  • We are required by law to act in your best interests and to make reasonable inquiries before recommending a credit product. We will provide you with a Credit Guide and, where applicable, a Credit Proposal Document before providing formal credit assistance.

Services offered by Lagos Financial include residential home loans, commercial finance, SMSF lending, construction finance, investment property loans, car loans, personal loans and equipment finance.

3. Regulatory Compliance – ASIC and the NCCP Act

Lagos Financial holds Australian Credit Licence 546774 issued by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC). We are subject to:

  • The National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) and the National Credit Code
  • ASIC’s regulatory guidance on responsible lending and credit assistance
  • The Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
  • The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles

Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other non-excludable right conferred by law.

4. General Information Only – Not Personal Advice

The content published on this Website (including articles, blog posts, podcast episodes, calculators, tools and general guides) is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute:

  • Personal financial advice or financial product advice under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth)
  • Personal credit assistance or a credit recommendation under the NCCP Act
  • Legal, tax or accounting advice

General information on this Website has not taken into account your individual objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting on any information found here, you should consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances. We strongly recommend you speak with a qualified professional (including, where appropriate, a Lagos Financial broker) before making any financial decision.

A formal credit assistance relationship only arises once you have engaged Lagos Financial directly, received a Credit Guide, and been provided with specific credit assistance in relation to a credit contract.

  • Results are based on the inputs you provide and general assumptions about interest rates, loan terms and lender criteria
  • They do not account for your full financial circumstances, credit history or lender-specific policies
  • They are not a pre-approval, conditional approval or formal credit assessment
  • Interest rates and lending policies change frequently, and any results may not reflect current market conditions

Always speak with a Lagos Financial broker to obtain advice tailored to your situation before making any financial commitment.
